Born- August 19

I accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as my personal Savior in June, 1985 during Vacation Bible School at Rosemeade Baptist Church in Carrollton, Texas. The Lord touched my heart to be in the ministry during a mission trip to México in 1997. It was at that time I was called to full time missions. The next summer I returned to México and worked with missionary Joey Starling. God blessed me that summer by giving me the opportunity to meet my wife, Flor.

Born- July 22

I was saved in the small village of Huachichil, México when I was six years old. Missionaries Marty and Jessie Starling had begun a church and Ms. Jessie came one Sunday to pick me up with a big yellow school bus while I was visiting my grandmother’s house. During the service I accepted Christ! Their son Joey Starling later came and started a church in my home town of Saltillo and ever since then, I have been always looking to serve the Lord. I surrendered to be a missionary when I was a teenager and then I met my husband. We were married in 2002 and have now been serving as church planting missionaries in the Dominican Republic for the past three years. Our son’s name is Andrew.

The Pattons are grateful for the opportunity to serve the Lord Jesus Christ in the Dominican Republic. They want to thank all of the brave prayer warriors as well as their supporting cast of churches. It is extremely difficult to do the Lord’s Work. It is quite expensive to operate in the Dominican Republic, so thank you for your faithfulness.

“Bretheren, I count not myself to have apprehended; but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth to those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of Godin Christ Jesus. Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded; and if anything ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal this even to you. Nevertheless, whereto we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us mind the same thing. Bretheren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an ensample.”
Philippians 3:13-17
